Children’s Education

We are all made in the image and likeness of God.

Holy Spirit kids are treated with the dignity, respect, and love that they deserve.  We embrace  their natural desire to learn, and nurture their crazy abundance of curiosity.  We  take our role of participating in the spiritual formation of our children very seriously.   The youngest–newborn to three year-olds are lovingly cared for in our nursery by our traineLilad and certified nursery workers.

Children from the ages of pre-k to third grade are led by trained teachers in the Catechesis for the Good Shepherd curriculum.  We consider the Children’s Choir an extension of our educational programs.

Budding “tweens” from 4th-8th Grade meet in the Middle School EYC Room.  Many of these children are integrally involved in worship as members of our choir or as acolytes.

High School students meet on Sunday evenings, help lead worship in the choir, as acolytes, and lectors.  They are also involved in our outreach ministries and help staff VBS. Learn more about our EYC program here.

We believe it is paramount that children learn of the love of God through curriculum and the presence of caring adults.  That is one of the reasons we also take formation for adults seriously too!
