BURIALS
In the Episcopal Church, Christian burials are conducted according to the rites of The Book of Common Prayer. The Prayer Book states, “The liturgy for the dead is an Easter liturgy. It finds all its meaning in the Resurrection. Because Jesus was raised from the dead, we, too shall be raised. The liturgy, therefore, is characterized by joy, in the certainty that ‘neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.'”

The death of a loved one, whether sudden or expected, is a traumatic time in the lives of those who mourn. While still grieving, families and loved ones are often called upon to make difficult decisions with little time to prepare. Our priest, Father Eric Mancil, can provide pastoral care during this time and help you facilitate the planning of a burial service. If you would like more information about burials at Holy Spirit, please contact our Parish Administrator, Daniel Coleman..

COLUMBARIUM
Members of the parish and their family members may be interred in the Columbarium at the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit. For more information regarding the columbarium, please contact our Parish Administrator, Daniel Coleman.
